Mike Parnitzke
Mike Parnitzke is a Process Innovation and Knowledge Retention Consultant for Orion Development Group. Mr. Parnitzke’s expertise spans the Business Analysis, Process Improvement and Project Management disciplines, enabling him to assist clients with the effective implementation of new technologies, yielding measurable business results.

Prior to joining Orion, Mr. Parnitzke had more than 15 years of Fortune 50 corporate success facilitating both management and specialized project teams in their quest towards process excellence. He teaches several seminars for Orion at universities throughout the United States.

Mr. Parnitzke played a key leadership role in the design and full deployment of all key business enterprise processes for the startup of the $500 million Telephone Sales Organization of Pepsi-Cola National Customer Service Center in Winston-Salem, NC. In a prior Pepsi assignment, as Process Improvement Manager, he managed a massive reengineering effort to streamline bottling operations processes via new information technology. Mr. Parnitzke was also recognized as the facilitator of choice for key strategic project planning work sessions while at United Technologies Pratt & Whitney Aircraft Division.

Mr. Parnitzke is one of Orion’s top team members for the evaluation and application of information technology, including ERP systems. Mr. Parnitzke’s most recent clients include Wake Forest University, where he led the effort to improve processes and improve the existing Banner system; and Kaplan Early Learning Company where he completed an end-to-end process analysis and requirements blueprint in preparation for a system upgrade vs. replacement analysis. At Santee Cooper, Mr. Parnitzke designed and implemented the proof-of-concept Knowledge Retention pilot ahead of a large wave of retirements by highly experienced employees.

Mr. Parnitzke earned his Bachelor of Science at the University of Florida and his MBA at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
