MENU Peter Johnson, CBAP
Peter Johnson brings 20 years of experience in a variety of industries to his current role in helping companies achieve greater business value from IT projects.
Since 2012, Mr. Johnson has served as Co-Chair Chapter Maturity Model at IIBA. Mr. Johnson is currently acting as Senior Consultant Facilitator with RG Freeman Group, improving how companies adopt Agile practices and how committed Scrum team members initiate, plan, execute, and sustain change while focusing on building Problem Management, Business Process Management, Business Analysis, and Leadership competencies.
Prior to becoming a consultant, Mr. Johnson held the following positions:
- Director of IT Business Solutions for a database marketing and literature distribution company
- Product Marketing Manager for an AT&T WorldNet Service launch team
- Instructor for the Business Analysis Body of Knowledge (BABOK TM)
From guiding the design and implementation of interfaces for New Jersey’s Department of Youth and Family Services case management system to providing custom training and expert guidance for a multi-national distributor, Mr. Johnson leverages his broad experience to help clients achieve meaningful business results from technology projects.

A Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAPTM ), Mr. Johnson is a founding member of the New Jersey Chapter of the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA). He serves as the chapter’s Vice President of Education, Certification and Professional Development. In addition, Mr. Johnson is part of the review team for the IIBA BABOK v2.0.
